Fans line up to meet Boston Uprising

On Wednesday, May 9th the Boston Uprising Overwatch team invited fans out to the Microsoft Store in the Prudential Center for a meet and greet. Friends were made, posters were signed, and Jeff and I were there to enjoy it all!

Proxy on the left, Jeff on the right, we gonna meet Uprising tonight

Ok, maybe Jeff looks a little tired and blurry, but he spent his whole day in Boston walking around and waiting for me, so I think that’s fair.

The invite was sent out last week to subscribers of the Boston Uprising news letter for this exclusive event. We managed to snag some free sunglasses, posters, and signatures from all of the players currently on the Boston Uprising roster!

There was even a slew of fun post-it notes hung on the wall where we were lined up (check out our Instagram for a gallery of the notes that were hung up).

It was a great time getting to meet everyone and chat with some of their media team, albeit briefly. Even though I haven’t played Overwatch in some time, this even definitely rekindled my love for the team and the Overwatch League.
